Free Temporary Drive-thru COVID-19 Testing Site in DeKalb County The State of Illinois Department of Public Health, DeKalb County Health Department and NIU have partnered together to offer a free temporary drive-thru COVID-19 testing site. NIU Convocation Center 1525 W Lincoln Hwy. DeKalb, IL 60115 entrance from Lincoln Hwy. Saturday, February 27th & Sunday, February 28th 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ***If there is inclement weather, testing site may be cancelled. Please check on IDPH and DCHD social media and websites for any cancellations. Simple nasal swabs will be used. You will be called with results within 4-7 days. No cost for testing.
